I've been on a smoothie kick ever since my lovely little KitchenAid blender arrived. Since I honestly do NOT like to eat salads these days, I have relegated to DRINKING them. So. Yeah. I like salads in smoothie form.
Today's smoothie recipe has no greens in it, but a whole bunch of fruity goodness that will make you feel good, feel full, and feel happy. Swear!
PITAYA & ACAI FRUIT SMOOTHIE
1 Packet Frozen Pitaya
1 Packet Frozen Acai Berry + Guarana (Sambazon brand)
1 frozen banana
1/2 cup frozen mangoes
1/3 cup frozen blackberries
4 pitted dates
2 cups almond milk (add more if necessary)
1 tbsp coconut oil
1 tsp chia seeds (for garnish)
With a high-powered blender, add frozen fruit first then the rest of the ingredients.
Start with low speed to mix and incorporate.
Blend to puree/liquify settings until smooth.
Add more almond milk, or even coconut water to get the consistency you prefer.
Pour and garnish with chia seeds to be extra fancy and take 30+ photos like I do.
